Auto Aggregator Jugnoo Enters The Restaurant Food Delivery Business With ‘Menus’

It’s a rare day when one start-up can cover every aspect of the delivery segment starting with food to groceries and still find an untapped section to cover. Meet Jugnoo, the on-demand auto rickshaw aggregator, that is going above and beyond what the name once meant and providing a lot more services than expected.

The company has now expanded into the restaurant food delivery segment by aptly calling it “Menus”. Using the Jugnoo app, customers can now order food from shortlisted restaurants via the Menus section. Last year, Jugnoo launched Meals and Grocery and Fatafat and now joining the ranks is this new service.

The launch is going to cover areas in Noida, Gurugram, Indore, Chandigargh and Jaipur at this point, but the brand has plans to spread Menus across all locations in India where Jugnoo is available. And if that’s not all, it also plans to reach 1000 restaurants in a month.

Speaking about this new addition to their cache, Ronak Goyal, VP Engineering at Jugnoo said, “The concept of Menus spurred from our existing B2B service vertical that offers logistics services to various vendors including a log of renowned restaurants and QSRs viz. Burger King, Pizza Hut, Subway, Baskin Robins etc. Through this venture we intend to not only aid delivery requirements of such businesses, but also help them scale their business. Thus, thriving on our B2B logistics service, unlike other restaurant aggregators, who hire third party delivery partners, we ensure quick and convenient delivery through our vast auto network.”

How this works is that using the app, customers can order food from select restaurants and the Jugnoo autos that are not being used at the time will pick up the order and deliver it to the customer. It is what their Meals and Grocery segment also provided and that is what separates Jugnoo from other food delivery services.

Currently Jugnoo has tied up with over 200 restaurants including Super Donut, Burger Hub, Bikanerwala, Sindhi Sweets, Cooper Chimney and more and with the plans to expand into 1000 restaurants, there will be much more available soon.
