We currently live in the Instagram generation where people would rather spend their time creating the perfect caption for their post than actually live and experience the present moment. Professor Daniel Kahneman, a renowned psychologist and Nobel Prize winner, spoke about the difference between experience and memory in a Ted Talk back in 2010. His main thesis was that everyone now perceives the present as “an anticipated memory” partially because of Instagram.
We’d love to see what’s your take on the same! Tell us if you would rather dig into hot piping food being served to you or would you rather make sure no one gets a bite until you get that perfect picture!
