Also, the data is mostly incomplete. Enter Apple ARKit, a new technology based on augmented reality that gives you a peek into what your food really contains.

While this technology is not solely meant to check food nutrients, its good news for those who love to track their diet. In a video put up on YouTube by napkinmoments shows how he used ARKit on a banana. First it recognized the food (banana), and post this recognition a complete view of nutrients in their exact amounts came into view as well. You can have a look at this amazing video below.
