Amy’s Kitchen was thought up by Rachel Berliner when she was pregnant. Yep, you read that right. Apparently, during her pregnancy, she wasn’t able to cook much. Unfortunately, her husband wasn’t the best cook. In her words, he was ‘just terrible’. She also discovered that there wasn’t much food that was healthy, organic and vegetarian. The frozen meals available had all sorts of additional ingredients which weren’t that healthy. She decided to change that and Amy’s Kitchen was born.
