Post the heartbreaking demise of boxing champion Muhammad Ali, the online and offline world turned into a sea of obituaries, ‘RIP’s and testimonies. Amul too paid its respects to the “Lord Of The Rings” with yet another pun-packed print ad.
The company, known for its witty posters on topical matters, released an advert today featuring the Amul girl and Muhammad Ali inside a boxing ring, bumping a friendly punch with each other. The caption reads: Lord of the rings…The Greatest (1942-2016)”.
Ali had been battling Parkinson’s disease for decades and passed away on June 3rd, 2016.
