Be there on Sunday the 21st of February to witness a gastronomical journey like no other.
The International Food Carnival is seeing participation from all around Chennai and all over the world. The Madras Cosmopolitan Ladies Circle 38, in association with The Park and Hatsun Curd, is putting together the two things we love most, International Food and a Superchef contest- more on that later.
Coming to the International Food Carnival; around 35 stalls, both commercial and individual home bakers, will bring their best food. Some of our favourite restaurant brands in Chennai, namely, Kitchen 187, The Park, Zaitoon, Moti Mahal and several more; along with home bakers like Sugar Monkeys, Green Goblin, Gulab, Uncle Sam’s Kitchen, Posh Nosh, Foodology, Cookie Express, Tutto Dolce, All Delish and Whisking Witch, will be bringing some variety to the table. The Ladies Circle has also tied up with The Overseas Women’s Club (OWC) to bring in stalls from Singapore and Malaysia. Going a further step, Embassies from Chennai like the Russian, Belgian, British, Thailand and American, will be bringing in their countries best.
There will be an entrance fee of Rs 100 for the food carnival and it will begin at 4.pm on Sunday.
Providing the entertainment for the evening will be Flare Bartending and Vegetable carving contests for Student chefs. The registrations however, are closed for this contest. Students from renowned Hotel Management Institutions will participate. These will be the preliminary rounds for the student division.
