ITC Foods’ premium cookie brand Sunfeast Dark Fantasy recently roped in actor Alia Bhatt as its brand ambassador. The biscuit manufacturer rolled out its latest advertising campaign featuring the 25-year-old enjoying the popular Choco Fills chocolate-filled cookies but in a completely different fashion and we’re completely on board with it.
Cookie Turns Dessert
The video shows the Raazi actor enjoying the cookies not as a snack but as a proper dessert by sticking it in the microwave first and then digging into it with a spoon. Prety neat, eh? The ad, which has been created by advertising agency FCB Ulka and directed by Dear Zindagi fame director Gauri Shinde, features the tagline ‘Can’t wait, won’t wait’ and aims to pave the way for the cookie brand as a ready-to-eat dessert.
“In Alia, we found the perfect fit as far as seamlessly bringing alive the irresistibility and spontaneity of consumption goes. This association is the perfect next step towards further entrenching the story of an irresistible indulgence, and towards demonstrating the versatility of occasions that the brand can address,” said Nitin Karkare, chief executive officer, FCB Ulka.
The campaign will be promoted across television, digital and social media platforms where the shorter version of the ad will be run.
Very few things trump the sheer lusciousness of a rich dark chocolate cookie and filled chocolate cookies could easily top that list. And with Bhatt teaching us a genius way to enjoy the stuffed treat, we’re all ready to stock up on some Sunfeast Dark Fantasy cookies! Watch the ad below.
