The world has been going gaga over Adele (the irony) since the British singer released her latest album ‘25’ along with a music video off her third LP, Hello. Being her first single in almost 3 years, Hello was bound to have received the amazing applaud that it did. But what also received major attention and appreciation was the singer herself.
Adele looks better than ever in her new avatar. And not just because the direction and make up are on point but because the singer has worked hard to achieve the look. Her secret? A vegetarian diet.
For The Love Of Dog
The singer turned to vegetarianism not just in order to consume a healthier diet but to also support not eating animals. “I’m trying to be veggie. For what I want to do next year I have to be really healthy and stuff like that.” She later added, “I can find another way of getting all the stuff out of meat you need. I hate that tofu stuff though. It’s rank. Whenever I’m about to eat meat I always see my little dog’s eyes”, she told Peat2 back in 2011 when she started working on herself.
Another inspiration for going veggie was her fiancé Simon Konecki who acted as a great source of inspiration.
The singer, who admits to having hated dragging herself to the gym and constantly wanting to just eat good food and gulping fine wine (woah! She’s one of us!), swore by the following diet tips.
- Drink lots of water
- Keep your portions in check
- Cut down (or cut out) “naughty food”
- Substitute white fir brown – bread, rice, etc.
With these tips in place being regular at the gym has also worked over 30kgs of wonders for Adele. She swears by rigorous sets of Pilates.
