The Video

Due to its graphic nature, we’ve not included the video; you can view it Worldstarhiphop.com. What you’ll see is an unidentified (as of now) man filming himself urinating on a cereal assembly line in Memphis, Tennessee.

Reportedly, the video was shot in 2014, during a labour dispute between Kellogg’s and its employees. While Kellogg’s is best known for its corn flakes, this video depicts the man corrupting the companies Rice Krispies Treats.

Since the video has been released, Kellogg’s has issued a statement expressing regret, shock as well as admitting that the products that were contaminated will now be past their expiry date.

Reactions

Since it was uploaded to the website, the video has been viewed 486,000 times, received 4070  comments and has been picked up by major news channels. Many consumers across the world are understandably horrified and disgusted.

In response to the video, Kellogg’s spokesperson Kris Charles said “Kellogg takes this situation very seriously and we were shocked and deeply disappointed by this video,” Charles said in a statement released Saturday. We immediately alerted law enforcement authorities and regulators. A criminal investigation is underway as well as a thorough internal investigation.”

The FDA is now conducting an investigation and searching for the man in the video.
