9 Super Healthy Energy Bites for a Quick Snack

Real food can sound boring and exhausting sometimes. Here are some exciting quick bites that’ll keep you energetic and running throughout the day.

1. 5 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cup Energy Bites

This super snack is easy to make and contains loads of energy. Just a few of these can lift you up in an instant. To make these babies all you need is some dates, chia seeds, peanut butter, diary free chocolate and oats. Just a handful of each of these would do or you can choose the proportions as per your taste. Blend these in a food processor and roll them into balls. Enjoy. Quick and easy, isn’t it?

2. Hemp and Cashew Bites

To start with, it’s vegan and gluten free. To make these, chop pre-soaked dates into big chunks and process the cashews to a smooth powder. Now blend dates and one banana in the blender adding cocoa powder, cinnamon, hemp seeds and coconut oil (optional). Roll them into your desired shape and enjoy. You’ll need these energy bombs on a slump day.

Blend Nutella, toasted oats and your favourite nuts together in a food processor. Roll them into balls and leave it to refrigerate before serving. Yum, right?

If you’re not a fan of carrot cakes, wait till you try these. These are light and fluffy and are a complete indulgence. Blend in shredded carrots, coconut flour, dates, pistachios, cinnamon, apricots, dates, cardamom and rolled oats along with a tiny bit of vanilla extract. Roll the mixture into balls and toss them in desiccated coconut. And, voila!

These 5-ingredient, no-bake Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Energy Bites are nut-free, gluten-free, vegan, and taste just like bites of banana bread! Blend in one ripe banana, ½ cup rolled oats, dates and coconut flour together. Fold in the chocolate chips and roll them into balls. A warm cup of milk is all you need with these little bombs.

6. Strawberry and Cream Cashew Cookie Bites

They are delicious and they are pink! These three ingredient energy balls are so full of flavour and are packed with energy. Throw in a handful of frozen strawberries, pre-soaked dates and cashews in a processor and blend them coarse. Roll into balls and refrigerate. A perfect guilt free snack!

Combine rice crispies, oat flour, honey, cashew butter, sprinkles (optional), a pinch of salt and vanilla extract and layer the mixture on a baking tray. Refrigerate for half hour and cut them into bars and enjoy.

Raw chocolate balls that are secretly healthy! Blend dates, chocolate chips, pecans, shredded coconut, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt together. Devour!

Want the taste of a sweet and delicious blueberry muffin, without all of the gunk? Make these Raw Blueberry Muffin Energy Balls for a nutritious snack that doesn’t skimp on the flavour! These can be made under  10 minutes. Combine dates, almonds, cashews, dried blueberries, vanilla extract and a little lemon juice in a blender. Roll into balls and refrigerate. There stay for up to two weeks in the fridge.
