When you’re nauseous, probably one of the last things you want to do is eat. However, there are some natural remedies that will help you get over the bout of nausea and these include food. Take a look:

Apples

The fibre in apples will help clear out chemicals which make you nauseous; substitute whole apples with apple sauce or apple juice if you can’t handle the thought of solid food.

Bananas

Bananas are low fat and have a bland flavour which will prevent nausea from developing.

Sports Drinks

Drinks high in sodium and potassium such as sport’s drinks can help you restore nutrients which will ward of nausea.

Water

While not exactly, a food, water is an important part of a nausea-fighting diet. Nausea will flush out toxins which could be causing the nausea.

Ginger

Enjoy some ginger, ginger ale or ginger candy; it’s been found to reduce nausea and vomiting.

Saltine Crackers or Pretzels

Small quantities of these can go a long way in warding off nausea.
