Dogs are the best! I think most of you would agree with what I just said. We love to play with them, cuddle with them and also occasionally feed them our extra morsels. How many of you have slipped some of your food to your beloved buddy? How many of you knew that your canine friend loves to eat baby carrots? Here are some dog approved human foods.
All that omega3! We’ve always loved to comb that shiny coat. The omega3 fatty acid and the oils in the salmon help to keep your dog’s coat healthy and shiny. Next time you feed her, don’t forget to mix some cooked salmon in her food.
Eggs are a great source of protein for you pup. It’ll keep him active all day long. An extra hour of playtime with the little guy? Oh yes!
Good source of fiber as well as beta-carotene/vitamin A.
Slimy shoes and holes in your socks? Then you must have a chewer at home. Apple slices are great palette cleansers. It’ll help to freshen your dog’s breath.
5. Peanut Butter
Dogs love peanut butter as much as we humans love it. It is a favourite treat of many canines. Give them raw, unsalted peanut butter and they’re happy – forever.
6. Cooked chicken
Chicken can be fed on a regular basis. This also makes a good occasional replacement to his regular dog food. A great source of protein and the lean meat helps in keeping him fit and healthy.
High in calcium and protein, yogurt makes for a festive treat. Yogurts with active bacteria can act as a probiotic and are good for your dog’s digestive system. Make sure you give him unsweetened, natural yogurt. Happy tummy, happy doggie.
