Yes, but did you know that health food doesn’t have to cost as much? Here’s a list of food items that are power packed with nutrients that you require on a daily basis. Plus it won’t cost you more than Rs.50 to buy them.

Lentils

Lentils or the good old dal are known immensely for their health factors across the globe. They are full of proteins and this is one of the best sources for the nutrient for vegetarians. Not only this, they are a great source of iron, fiber, folate and B vitamins. Drink up a bowlful of lentils and include it in your daily diet in the form of salads, soups or have it the traditional way with rice.

Spinach

These leafy greens are super loaded and are full of vitamins, folate, calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, copper, and manganese. Let’s not stop there. There are flavanoids present in spinach that act like antioxidants. These act like guards against free radicals and keeps the cholesterol from oxidizing.
