7 foods that will eat up Belly Fat and fight Inflammation

Bring it on, belly!

I remember thinking, “How nice it would be if some foods could just eat some of the fat!”. And it’s as if someone was listening in on that thought. And they said, “Here’s the list.” So we’re proud to share the list of food that will eat the fat away, slowly but surely. 

1. Green teas


The flavonoids in green tea have the capacity to shrink your waistline and get rid of inflammation. Get some boiling and keep it at your desk at work. 

2. All fruits and vegetables

Fresh Vegetables, Fruits and other foodstuffs.

The high fiber content of all fruits and vegetables goes a long way in combating chronic inflammation. Apples, berries, broccoli, mushrooms, papaya, pineapple and spinach have anti-inflammatory properties. Take some in a paper bag to wherever you’re off to today. 

3. Walnuts, flaxseed and Fish


Wild Alaskan Salmon and certain other fishes are high in Omega 3 fatty acids decrease inflammation as and when they see it. Walnuts and flaxseed have also been known to have these properties. So poach it, steam it or grill it, but have that fish! 

4. Spices


Spices like garlic, chilli and turmeric have properties that make them shrink your waistline. Throw some in that casserole for dinner, will you?

5. Water

Staying hydrated is the key to losing excess fat. Flush out the toxins regularly and you could be flushing out some fat too. 

6. Mono-unsaturated fats


Don’t let the long term make you nervous! Almonds, avocado and olive oil raise levels of healthy cholesterol and reduce inflammation. 

7. Whole grains


Whole grains control the insulin response in your body. So you see “whole” something on the label? Pick it up!
