If there is one female Bollywood star who can be lauded for her immense discipline and hard work when it comes to staying fit, it’s Katrina Kaif. The Tiger Zinda Hai actor, who turns 35 today, has proved time and again that she can drop jaws and turn heads without so much as trying and she owes that in part to her fabulous physique. Kaif has often shared her fitness regime on social media and has also proven that one doesn’t have to sacrifice their favorite foods – or food, in general – to look a certain way. “Food gets me going. Nothing can cheer me up better than a good meal,” the Superstar Chocolate brand ambassador said once. And true to her remark, here are three foods that are admittedly her favorites.
Katrina loves herself some seafood, especially prawns and crabs. Her favorite preparation is the Goan-style curry made with coconut milk and a dollop of coastal spices.
“I love street food and any street place that offers paya with kadak pav will instantly be a favourite for me. I can eat my heart out with paya and pav”, Katrina admitted in a statement last year. In a more recent interview the 35-year-old also said that when in Delhi, she loves to treat herself to some authentic chaat. “From chaat in Bengali Market to kebab and paranthe in Chandni Chowk, I would want to try everything”, she said.
A self-proclaimed pizza fan, Katrina is also big on cheese. She likes it on her pizza and wouldn’t mind a little extra in her pasta either. In a video on Instagram, Kat’s sister Isabella Kaif can be seen whipping up a cheese omelet for the Jagga Jasoos lead and saying, “Didi only wants cheese”. Sibling goals right there!
But that’s not all, the actress’ immense love for good food has surfaced on the Internet many a time. For instance, when Farah Khan tweeted about Kaif lapping up her biryani “and how” or even when Katrina herself admitted to scoffing down an entire pizza and let’s not forget the time she flipped flawless pancakes with Mini Mathur.
