We know London is a beautiful and vibrant city but during the London Cocktail Week, the city comes alive buzzing with cocktails and a merry crowd. This year, the Cocktail Week will take a week-long residency at Old Spitalfields Market transforming the whole 1200 square metre market into a huge cocktail village.
You can meander through the market with LCW wristband which cost around £10 and are available at LondonCocktailWeek.com. Over 250 of the best bars in the capital will be throwing open their doors to offer specially created cocktails for £5 to wristband wearers.
If you thought this was enough to get you to book a flight to London (if you’re not already there) then wait till you hear this!
Absolut will be partnering with 12 of the cocktail bars across London to offer 12 classic cocktails – as well as 12 unique twists on the classics. Absolut will be helping London Cocktail Week goers discover the legacy behind our 12 classics – whether truth or rumour, each one has a story to tell. Each bar will also champion their own specially created twist on their classic – breathing energy and life back into every beloved classic cocktail. Participating bars include:

“Absolut is looking to have a bigger presence at this year’s London Cocktail Week highlighting 12 Classics and the stories behind the cocktails. It is great to have all these bars representing Absolut and we hope people enjoy the cocktails and the twists as well as the masterclasses with Rico.” Rick Bennett-Baggs, Senior Brand Manager at Absolut.
We have attached for your convenience a map, you know, in case you get lost with all that vodka.
Intrigued? Of course, but what if we also told you that you can also learn to make these cocktails on your own.
Yes, that’s right. You will have an opportunity to take a class from Absolut’s mixologist Rico Dynan, who will invite guests to discover all there is to know about the nation’s favourite cocktails. The six separate sessions will focus on one classic each.
“Making the cocktails with the special flavoured Absolut adds to the flavour and makes it a true signature cocktail. We’ll go through six of the best classics – and how they became staples of the bar menu. Themasterclasseswill be fun and interactive, no need to be a cocktail making expert to come along!” says Rico Dynan.
